March 5, 2023 | 1:00 pm 2:00 pm

Welcome Home, Linda Ronstadt

The name Linda Ronstadt is music to the ears of all Tucsonans, and she is back to reflect on the Tucson that shaped the person she is today. In this session, she and co-author Lawrence Downes will discuss her new memoir, Feels Like Home: A Song for the Sonoran Borderlands in a panel on Sunday, March 5th at 1 PM PST moderated by journalist Ernesto Portillo Jr.

Linda Ronstadt, the great-granddaughter of Friedrich and Margarita Ronstadt of Sonora, Mexico, is one of the world’s most acclaimed singers. She has sold more than 100 million records, won 12 Grammy awards and is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Linda grew up in Tucson, attended the UA, and loves coming back. Ironically, the title of her recent book is Feels Like Home … and she will be when she visits the Tucson Festival of Books!
