Heyday Kids aims to inspire and inform a new generation of readers through books that celebrate nature, a diversity of cultures and experiences, native folktales, contemporary art and literature, and history. Heyday Kids is a part of Heyday Books, a nonprofit publisher devoted to deepening peoples appreciation of Californias natural, historic, cultural, and artistic resources. We welcome manuscripts for picture books through young adult works, both fiction and nonfiction.
