Businesses
Help support nature and attract customers to your store. We're giving your customers the opportunity to win a free hike with John Muir Laws. All participating stores will be automatically entered into a raffle to win original artwork signed by John Muir Laws.

To help you get started, we'll send you a kit containing:
Flyers
Nature fan pins
Nature stickers

Suggestions for your raffle:
Do a window display on nature books to promote your raffle.
Invite your community to submit their best illustrations of local wildlife to hang on walls.
Invite Audubon or another nature organization to do an event at your store.

To register, just email your raffle plans and your mailing address to us. We'll send you your kit and enter your store into our bookstore raffle. Once you have a winning customer, email us their contact information and we'll coordinate the rest.

Two spots will be reserved for your customer on one of John Muir Laws' hikes. Hikes are not one-on-one. There will be one winner per participating store. Winners must be able to travel to the hiking trail in the San Francisco Bay Area on their own and be in good shape. Neither Heyday Books nor John Muir Laws is liable for any injuries incurred as a result of this campaign. Only one original artwork will be given away in our bookstore raffle. Bookstores must be located within USA. Winning customer names must be submitted by August 31, 2010.

Here's how to register:
1. Send us an email with your blog link and mailing address
2. Blog about Bay Area nature to qualify.

All participants will receive a free copy of The Laws Pocket Guide Set.

Suggestions for blog posts:
Tell people about our Bay Area Nature Fan campaign
Go on a hike and post photos
Find an animal or plant, draw it, identify it, and then post
Hug a tree and post photos
Give a shout out to your local wildlife and nature conservancy program
